I have started posting short articles on the internet, in the hope that I will eventually have enough articles spread out to bring me a substantial monthly residual income. Now by substantial, I don’t mean that I will be quitting my day job. And I won’t be disappointed if I don’t pay my mortgage with the income. But I am giving it my best effort, and am looking forward to posting my progress here on this blog.
I started writing one month ago. The reason I have put off starting this blog until now is so that I use the little experience I have gained since early November, to show what I have been able to accomplish thus far. The past month, I have wrote a total of 47 “How to” articles, and posted them all on Ehow.com. Additionally, I have posted “Xomblurbs” on the Xomba website, in the hopes that I can drive some additional traffic to my Ehow articles. The revenue I have made so far (from people who have clicked on my Google adsense ads), is not much, but it should increase the more I write. I am lucky that my dayjob provides me with plently of “downtime” to write articles. In November, I made $12, and so far this month, I have made $10, all from Ehow. I have not made anything so far on my Xomblurbs, but I do believe that they are driving traffic to Ehow, because I can see that 258 have visited the sites. Stay tuned to this blog, as I will be reporting my progress semi monthly...
